Halloween Interview Part 10: Introducing Kitter LaGore

How did the name Kitter LaGore come about?

"Kitter" is an old pet name an ex gave to me when I was 19. The years that followed afterward were some of the darkest days of my life. I was surrounded by a lot of negativity and totally lost touch with who I really was. My spirit was essentially dead, and a few people told me I would never amount to anything. I had a big wake up call, picked myself up and moved on with my life. I choose to stick with Kitter because to this day, some of my close friends still refer to me as that and I figured it is a very fitting tribute to that part of myself that I figuratively laid to rest some years ago. It is my quite way of saying "Yes, I can be something and I will be something, regardless of what anyone says." The "LaGore" is because I wanted something girly yet creepy, much like myself!

If your photo set was part of a story, what would that story be telling?

I was on the verge of a meltdown when this idea came to me! The story I wanted to tell was one of a person just having enough. Reaching a point of no return, and going ever so mad and insane as politely as possible. The whole time Alice was in Wonderland, she thought everyone was absolutely insane. She had to navigate her way through the madness to get back home. So many aspects of my life, I say to myself "Is this seriously reality? This is really happening??" Doing this photo set was a therapeutic release. I was able to go crazy and insane, sip the blood of evil doers and have a nice debate with my teddy bear friend!

What do you find appealing about horror/gore?

I love the adrenaline rush I get while watching a great horror movie. It amuses me as to how some people have such a grossed out and frightened perception of gore. Apparently, I made someone sick to their stomach with my "Mad Alice" photo set. They said they were disturbed and distracted by the amount of blood. They were also shocked that I took that as a compliment.

Is Halloween your favorite holiday? If so, why? If not, why not?

YES! Halloween has been my favorite holiday for a long time! It is the one night where you can pick whatever it is that you want to be, and just be it. You can totally lose yourself in a character. Plus I love eating gobs of candy, and being a wretched little deviant!

What are your plans for this Halloween?

Nothing official as of yet. Most likely surrounding myself with good friends, good music and some good times. I am hoping to have the same pleasure of walking around in public places with no pants on as I did last year!

Halloween Interview Part 9: The Amazing Demoniccunt!

It's no secret I love Demoniccunt. I'm drawn not just to her beauty and message, but her intelligence, strength, and the person behind the persona. While she is Demoniccunt, there is more to Holly than just a blasphemous message and dislike for organized religion. As with most models on TAMD I like to learn about the person behind the alias.

Why do you think people get offended by the name Demoniccunt? Furthermore, why do think people are in love with it?

I suppose some people get offended because the word 'cunt' is a strong, negative word, so to speak. Calling someone a cunt would usually offend them, but me calling myself a cunt may be confusing to others so I'll explain why I named myself Demoniccunt. It is for a few reasons. My female anatomy has endured inserting Jesus Christ on his cross on film thus making the very act of doing such a thing 'Demonic' or 'blasphemous' hence the words Demonic cunt. I also feel that the word cunt is a power word, it is one of the few remaining words in English that still retained its power to shock.

The other reason is because my porn and photo work (modeling) is very obscene and irreligious. Some would call my actions of being too extreme and being a cunt (aka a disparaging and obscene: woman) so there are many reasons why I named myself that and people either love it or hate it.

Finally you have appeared on some religious folks radar. What is the best way to deal with people who want to push their beliefs on you?

I actually enjoy provoking them, only when I am bored enough to do so. When they step on my turf, so to speak, and push their beliefs on me and write entire forums about me to try and remove me from the internet, I either ignore it and just find it mildly amusing, or provoke them and tell them that I do love Jesus... in my cunt.

What do you like doing in your ever so scarce, free time?

When I finally do have time to myself, I study psychology and quantum physics for future job pursuits because they are my subjects of passion. I play the drums and learn languages (German, Norwegian and fluent in Arabic).

You've said that modeling wasn't your first choice for a profession. Do you think there will come a time when you step out of the spotlight to pursue your first choice?

Ive been modeling since I was 16. I loathed the falseness involved in the profession hence why I did my own thing to stay true to myself. When I feel Demoniccunt has served its purpose and I no longer feel the anger of being raised Christian and the vile abuse that came along with it, I will pursue my life long passions, quantum physics and psychology. Music is definitely one of my biggest passions, especially drumming, so I would like to join a band as a drummer one day also. I have many goals and aspirations. I want to also get into the acting industry. I was asked to be in a movie a while ago and from there I developed an interest in the industry. I am 26, I have many years to do all that I can do. I am an extremely driven, passionate, strong and a very dedicated woman. If I say I will do something, I do it. I will die one day with a head full of knowledge, experience and no regrets.

Despite your name, Demoniccunt, you're not religious. Is this correct? Is there any religion, cult, belief, etc that you're drawn to?

Actually, I am a practicing witch. Pagan/Wicca. My Satanic imagery is my aggression towards Christianity because of my personal experience with it. My whole childhood and teenage life was filled with lies, deceit, abuse in every way possible, loss of family, friends and naivety, all in the name of Christianity/Mormonism. I am not a bitter person, but I do enjoy offending the very thing (Christianity) that caused a lot of pain and anguish in my life. My belief in Wicca is extremely important to me as it brings me back to the very essence of who I am. It is a different kind of knowledge and power.

Many of your fans adore you for your looks and your anti-religion stance, do you ever get annoyed that they seem to dismiss your intelligence?

I personally am doing what I am doing because it is who I am. If people enjoy it, then I am extremely appreciative that I have given people what they want, be it entertainment or whatever amuses them for the time being. I cannot control peoples thoughts of me so I do not mind how they support me, I just appreciate the fact that they do. I could never be annoyed at anyone for how they feel about me. I am in the porn industry, thus being my image as a sex symbol or what say you. It is expected for people to only see what they want to see from me and not go any deeper. They all have their own lives to deal with so I am just glad I can affect my fans in a positive way, no matter what sort of way it is.

What can we expect from you in the near future?

Well, I will definitely do girl/girl porn scenes, my website will be up and all of my porn footage for the past three years will finally see the light of day! I have been asked by a few bands to be in their song film clips, doing my trademark Demoniccunt nun crucifucking thing. A lot more band promotion, magazine shoots (most of the adult magazines ask for me to do front cover/six page shoot and interview for them) and a whole lot more.

If you could give advice to an aspiring model what would it be?

Be true to yourself. You direct how you want your image portrayed. Do not give in to the blonde, tanned trend thing if that is not who you are. Most of the adult magazines only accepted the bottle bleach and spray tanned look but now a pale, dark haired tattooed woman called Demoniccunt is on the page covers. Confidence is the key. If you do not love who you are and what you are doing, then how can you expect anyone else to? I am not talking about conceit, I am taking about being true to who you are and ignore any negativity/insults. I cannot feel insulted by anyone because they are only putting you down because of their own ignorance and lack of confidence/self esteem.

What are your plans for Halloween?

I have not thought about that yet! I have to get through this weeks hectic schedule.

Halloween Interviews Part 8: Drusilla Killswitch

How did the name 'Drusilla Killswitch' come about?

The name Drusilla Killswitch came about actually when I was in high school. I was a huge fan of Spike and Dru and in those days I wore the London Gowns just like Drusilla and had long dark hair and was quiet and mysterious just like her. My friends said I reminded them of her so they dubbed me Drusilla or Dru for short. A few years later my friend Chris who actually is the photographer of the set you are using gave me the nickname Killswitch for funny reasons. The name stuck and I added it to Drusilla and it just sounded awesome. For years I was known as just Drusilla until Killswitch was added. I think the two work very well together.

What was the inspiration for this photoshoot?

The inspiration was thought of the photographer Chris Swenk. He called me up with the idea and I was all for it! It was suppose to be a take from "Hear no evil, See no evil. Speak no evil"...but as we couldn't get the right props for it...the shoot turned into being in the words of Chris " the tormented soul we all have inside of us." Basically everyone has a tormented soul that we never really show but we keep inside of us and how we all torment ourselves over our lifetime and the torment we send to others and such. It was an awesome shoot and we had a blast doing it!! We just shot away and were very happy with the results. It has been in a gallery show and did quite well.

You're a creative model, which has been your favorite shoot to do?

I actually have two fave shoots. Both were shot by Chris Swenk. One shoot was "Welcome to Centralia" which was shot in Centralia PA, where there has been a coal mine fire burning over the last 40 years. Although a gas mask was involved breathing was hard due to fumes, but it was so much fun to shoot and he has done quite well with gallery shows with that set as well. Of course the "Torment" shoot was another. It took over an hour to do makeup and such in a cold basement but the shoot took 5 to 10 minutes and the results were amazing! Chris made the eye prosthetic and covered me in body mud then painted me to give me a "decrepit" look. It was a ton of fun!! All my shoots have been fun and I always try to find something new, different and creative to do!! The more "out there" the shoot the better!!! If we can make someone go "oh my gosh", we have done our job!!

Besides modeling you like to dance, what is your favorite style of dance?

I have been dancing since I was 4. I have done everything from ballet, baton twirling, gymnastics, and jazz dancing. I love every form of dance!! I go-go for alternative night clubs as well when I can. My fave form of dancing would have to be Ballet. I just love the movements, and it is really great exercise. If it wasn't for the knee surgeries I had in high school, I was hoping to try out for The Julliard School of Dance. Ballet is just a beautiful style of dance and I hope to continue with it soon. Dancing and music in general is my life. If there is a great beat involved, you will find me dancing, no matter where I am lol.

What are your plans for Halloween?

Halloween......I just love this time of year. I love being able to dress up and be someone else without being judged. I have no real plans but if I can I would love to try for a look from Katy Perry's video E.T. If not there is always next year...but there are no real plans. Maybe a party or two here and there. Whatever it is I do....I hope to make it huge lol. Halloween this year is all last minute for me due to being busy with work and such. I am just hoping I am able to have a good time.

I want to thank everyone at TAMD for giving me this chance to be interviewed and thank you for everything they have done with promoting my work and such!!! They are all awesome people and really help when it comes to finding work and others to work with!! TAMD RAWKS!!!! Also thank you to everyone reading this. I hope you enjoyed it and thank you for your support!!! Keep the Alternative style alive!!!
